The Beautification Squad may impose disciplinary matters: verbal warnings, written warnings, demotion of rank, soft temporary suspension, hard temporary suspension, expulsion, or blacklist.
Definitions of discipline.
Verbal Warning: an undocumented warning to correct an action or behavior;
Written Warning: a documented warning to correct an action or behavior;
Demotion of Rank: the assignment of a rank following the Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman seniority system;
Soft Temporary Suspension: (no greater than two weeks) a suspension without removing the moderation team tole in Politics;
Hard Temporary Suspension: (reserved only for two+ week suspensions) a suspension by removing the moderation team role in Politics;
Expulsion: removal from the moderation team for at least four months;
Blacklist: permanent removal from the moderation team with no possibility of rejoining.
The Beautification Squad may impose these disciplinary matters by a member of the squad bringing proceedings before the entire Beautification Squad. The squad shall hold an impromptu meeting to discuss the matter, and invite the subject moderation team member to defend themselves against evidence presented against them. The Beautification Squad shall always strive for remediation and shall use the least harsh disciplinary action possible to correct such behavior. The Beautification Squad shall confirm disciplinary action by a simple majority of present squad members.
If such disciplinary action is a hard temporary suspension, or harsher disciplinary action, then confirmation of disciplinary action shall be put to a vote to the greater LGBT+ Moderation Team; leaving out material knowledge, besides what general behavior was observed. This vote shall run for forty eight hours; and shall be approved by a super majority (2/3rds) approval for the disciplinary action.
Evidence used during a disciplinary hearing shall be hard evidence; consisting of: video proof, screenshots or images, or at least two witnesses.
